Here’s Everything We Can Guess From Next Week’s Chilling ‘GoT’ Teaser

The teaser for the still-unnamed (at the time of writing) sixth episode in Game of Thrones proves one thing: winter is well and truly here.

Last episode we might have ducked around Westeros like a pogo stick, but this one feels firmly in the north.

A ragtag gaggle of men – a King, a Hound, a Bastard, a Priest, a Knight and a Dead Man [props to this dude] – venture north of the Wall, while Arya and Sansa Stark’s emotional reunion feels like a different lifetime as cracks between the sisters show.

“Death is the enemy,” says Beric Dondarrion, as we see the group surrounded by fog. “The first enemy, and the last. The enemy always wins. And we still need to fight him.”

And over in Winterfell, Arya is confronting Sansa, potentially about a certain scroll she found last week.

“You’re scared aren’t you,” she says. “What are you scared of?”

Guys – PLEASE stop fighting and work together to stop Littlefinger right in his fucking tracks.

But back to Eastwatch – or rather, just north of Eastwatch. We have shots of the group fighting and then running for their lives, so it’s safe to say not everything goes to plan. (And on that note: what plan? Literally what plan did they have other than ‘go and get a wight’?)

And at some point, we see a group of men go through the wall. Since we’ve already seen Jon Snow and co head north, could these guys be reinforcements?

We also see Gendry absolutely belt the living shit out of someone. It could be a wight, I suppose, but it also looks a bit like Beric or the Hound. Is Gendry seeking revenge for Thoros of Myr (who travels with both of them) selling him to Melisandre for two bags of gold?

And then it ends on this horrifying shot of the White Walkers, including the Night King. Hooly bloody dooly, shit is getting real.

It might appear as though they are simply observing the fight from afar, but a split-second shot definitely looks like the merry band of men will be battling at least one White Walker before this episode is up.

Let’s hope they have enough Dragonglass by now.
