I swore a solemn oath yesterday that I would bring you, the readers of PEDESTRIAN.TV, footage of Harry Styles being wounded during a celebrity dodgeball match. This is me making good on that promise.

Behold: a short clip of Styles’ nuts being compacted thanks to an absolute pearler from Michelle Obama. Yes, Michelle Obama. We’ll get to that in a second, but for now, watch the dude star-jump directly into the path of her heatseeking missile.

That clip comes as part of The Late Late Show‘s most recent London special, which assembled two all-star teams to duke it out. On one side: host James Corden, and British pals Benedict Cumberbatch, John Bradley, Styles, and the decidedly un-British Reggie Watts.

Mila Kunis, Lena Waithe, Melissa McCarthy, Kate Hudson, and the former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, joined as Team USA.

While the episode aired in the US overnight and footage of the dodgeball match has been uploaded to YouTube, some interesting licensing agreements mean Aussie viewers are currently unable to see it in full. However, we do know that Cumberbatch avenged his fallen comrade by hitting Obama with a dodgeball – and looked justifiably terrified afterwards.
