‘Grace & Frankie’ S6 Is Hitting Netflix Next Month & I’m Organically Lubed And Ready To Go

Grace and Frankie

I don’t know about you lot but there’s nothing I love more than forcing my dog to love me while I watch Grace and Frankie during the summer. So it delights me to share that the deeply adored series will return in January for its sixth and penultimate season.

As always, legends Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin reprise their titular roles as Grace and Frankie respectively, in season 6. Who knows what they’ll get up to this time, re: breaking out of a retirement village and making bulk $$$ from vibrators. But also, though I love every ridiculous moment in the show, let’s not forget how absolutely crushing it can be at times. My god, I’m not ready. But also, givvus season 6 now.

RECAP: At the very, very end of season 5, Grace reveals she spontaneously married Nick (Peter Gallagher) and Frankie is like, “HUH”. Literally, she sits on the beach after receiving the news, and that’s how the season ends. Gonna go ahead and assume things will pick up from there.

Speaking of which, Netflix gifted us a couple of pictures from the upcoming season, and I love each and every snap.

Pictured: Grace and Frankie up to their old tricks, Nick and Grace getting married again (maybe it’s a flashback or a renewal), Grace and her daughters Brianna (June Diane Raphael) and Mallory (Brooklyn Decker), and the ol’ boys Sol (Sam Waterston) and Robert (Martin Sheen) being CUTE.

Not pictured: Coyote being good-weird (Ethan Embry), his brother Nwabudike (Baron Vaughn), and Bud’s boo Allison (Lindsey Kraft).

And on Instagram, Frankie – huge Instagram star – shared some “toilet humour” to announce the release date.

I’m so excited.

Earlier this year, Netflix announced Grace and Frankie would come to an end after its seventh season. Which is devastating news, but a seventh season means the show will become Netflix’s longest-running series ever. Not bad for two old gals, as  Fonda and Tomlin said.

I’ve known this news for months now and I still feel very bittersweet about it. UGH.

Grace and Frankie season 6 hits Netflix, January 15.
