For the last time this year (sob), HBO has released a bunch of teaser pics from the upcoming Game of Thrones episode.
This is the big one, folks. The finale, running for a record-breaking 79 minutes and 43 seconds, is titled ‘The Dragon and the Wolf‘, which makes it almost certain we’re getting some game-changing Rhaegar / Lyanna or Jon / Danaerys scenes, or both. Hopefully both.
That being said, Dany STILL doesn’t feature in any of these pics, which only makes me more and more certain she’s going to appear over the top of the dragonpit on Drogon‘s back or something, and toast the Lannisters to ashes.
Anyway, the images. Let’s dive in.
First up, Theon, wondering why anyone continues to make him do anything.
Cersei, in the map room, clutching her potential baby-filled womb. “One day, all of this will be ours,” she whispers to her little plot device.
Cersei and Jaime. He doesn’t look very happy, does he. Jaime is repeatedly cucked by his own sister, so I suppose he wouldn’t be.
Jon, wearing an entire beast on his shoulders despite the fact that King’s Landing is probably a balmy 22 degrees.
PUT DOWN THE CLOAK, JON.
“Maybe give the cloak a rest, mate.” – Tyrion.
“That fucker’s wearing a what?” – Bronn.
“Shut up, we’ve got bigger problems.” – Jaime.
“When will my family return from war?” – Bran, or as he’s otherwise known to a giant group of Game of Thrones fans now, The Night King in training.
Sansa over here, wondering if Arya is going to Lemonade her and straight-up wear her scalp like a cap.
“If that’s what you truly want… I can wear her skin over mine. Her hair over mine. Her hands as gloves. Her teeth as confetti. Her scalp, a cap.” – Arya / Warsan Shire.
Bran, again. Everything is your fault, Bran.
Oooh, could Jaime murder Cersei in the map room? That would be poetic.
“You’re gonna murder me? RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY SALAD?”
Sansa, contemplating the injustice of getting Winterfell back for her family and all of them being ungrateful little shits.
Theon, again. He’s looking off to the right now. That must mean… something.
