The Just-Released Title Of The ‘GoT’ S7 Finale Promises Major Reveals

OH MY GOD MONDAY CANNOT COME SOON ENOUGH.

The Game of Thrones finale episode title has been revealed as ‘The Dragon and the Wolf‘, and you know what that means: Jon and Daenerys, Rhaegar and Lyanna.

Big things are coming in this record-breaking 79 minute and 43 second episode. Big things. Wonderful things.

The teaser for the episode showed the Lannisters, Jon Snow, and representatives of Houses Stark and Targaryen meet in the ancient ruins of the dragonpit to discuss the threat from the Night King and his army.

Absent from the footage was one Daenerys Targaryen, but how can you have an episode about dragons without the Mother of Dragons? You can’t. It is known.

Fans are speculating that this means we’ll either see Dany and Jon finally cement their (unknowingly incestuous) relationship, or whether we might finally witness the marriage of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, proving Jon’s Targaryen blood once and for all and cementing his place as the rightful person to sit on the Iron Throne. Bad timing, really, when he literally just bent the knee to Dany, but this story has never been too concerned about happily ever afters.

Fans are also losing their shit. Understandable, really.
