As is tradition, HBO has released a slew of new images from the upcoming episode of Game of Thrones. Similarly, at least one of the characters featured in the shots will probably die in Episode 5 of the show’s final season, so you better get a good look at them now.

Following on from the events of Episode 4, which saw Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) and big, bad dragon Rhaegal die at the hands of the combined Lannister / Greyjoy forces, one photo shows Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) in mourning.
Other shots show Jon Snow (Kit Harington) returning from Winterfell to discover all kinds of hell in the south.
Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) looks regal and malevolent as ever, while basically everyone else involved in the conflict looks absolutely shellshocked.
We also get a glimpse of Harry Strickland (Marc Rissmann), the mercenary leader employed by Cersei to defend her grip on the Iron Throne.
Portentous.
The next episode of Game of Thrones will premiere on Aussie screens via Foxtel on Monday, May 13.
