HBO Dropped 8 Well-Lit Pics Of The Next ‘GoT’ Ep To Show Who’s Still Kicking

After legions of Game Of Thrones fans complained the final season’s set-piece battle was too dark to even damn see, HBO has shared eight well-lit images from next week’s episode.

Documenting the events immediately after The Long Night, the shots showcase what most of the surviving characters are up to: Jon Stark (Kit Harington) is burning the dead outside the walls of Winterfell, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) is palling around with her dragon, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) is smizing in King’s Landing, and Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk) is looking keen to, uh, join some bloodlines.

A notable mention goes out to Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), who appears outside her ancestral home with a whopper of a mark over her eye. We guess that’s just what happens when you murk The Night King three episodes into the show’s last season.

Where are Jaime Lannister (Nicolai Coster-Waldau) and Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Cristie)? Who knows. To distract ourselves from the idea of them actually dying at some point, let’s revisit Arya’s eye for a second:
