Get Around The Dystopian Trailer For HBO’s Adaption Of ‘Fahrenheit 451’

Hold onto your butts, because a trailer for HBO‘s adaptation of Ray Bradbury‘s dystopian classic Fahrenheit 451 has dropped, and it looks – please, forgive us here – absolutely fire.

Black Panther‘s Michael B. Jordan stars as Guy Montag, the fireman whose job it is to burn books without question. But, of course, he does start to question the authoritative world of which he’s an active part in.

“Did fireman used to put out fires?” he asks in the trailer.

“That’s a classic lie,” replies the cool voice from the speaker. “Have you used your drops today?”

The film, which was written and directed by 99 Houses Ramin Bahrani, also stars Sofia Boutella and The Shape of Water‘s Michael Shannon.

Fahrenheit 451 premieres on HBO on May 19th; we’ll keep you updated as to an Australian release.
