Props to the hair and makeup team, ‘cos they’ve bloody nailed all the trademark Liz the first elements. Her high forehead and wiry curls are present and accounted for, and even her skin texture (a result of smallpox in her early 20’s) has been recreated on Margot.
Considering actors that transform so majorly for roles uuuusually end up clutching all the trophies once awards season rolls ’round, people are predicting Margot’s front and centre for Best Actress in 2018.

Margot stars alongside fellow excellent actor Saorise Ronan, who plays the titular character, and if any of you have binge-watched Reign (excuse me, it’s a great show, stop rolling your eyes) you’ll be well aware that Elizabeth I and Mary Queen Of Scots do not exactly get along.
