2018 feels like an odd time for Netflix to reveal its premiere of a show called The End Of The F**king World. If anything, its title seems a little retrospective.
Regardless, the British black comedy is rolling through to streaming audiences on January 5, and here’s what you ought to know: the whimsically-dreary series, based on the graphic novel by Charles Forsman, follows young self-proclaimed psychopath James (Alex Lawther) and manic pixie dream target Alyssa (Jessica Barden) on a life-changing, and perhaps life-ending, road trip.
The End Of The F**king World already enjoyed its debut on UK screens late last year, but it was only yesterday that Netflix revealed it secured the rights for a broader audience. Hell, Maybe the world first ended in Britain.
