Here’s Everyone Who Won, And Totally Did Not Win, At The 2019 Emmy Awards

The Emmy Awards have come and gone for another year, with one key difference: Game Of Thrones, a perpetual awards show heavy-hitter, lost some of the sheen it accumulated over eight enormous seasons.

While the series did win Outstanding Drama Series, and Peter Dinklage nabbed the Best Supporting Actor In A Drama award, Game Of Thrones faltered in some individual categories.

Not only did Ozark highlight Julia Garner overcome Game Of Thrones stars Gwendoline Christie, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, and Lena Headey to secure the Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama gong, Jason Bateman also won a statuette for Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series.

Elsewhere, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and her hit comedy Fleabag won big, with Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing In A Comedy Series in the bag.

Grim HBO miniseries Chernobyl also lived up to its acclaim with a slew of awards, while 21-year-old When They See Us star Jharrel Jerome scored the Outstanding Lead Actor In A Limited Series accolade.
