Elmo Settles The Lannister Feud In This ‘GoT’ x ‘Sesame Street’ Crossover

Elmo

In a most ambitious crossover, network neighbours Game of Thrones and [checks notes for the millionth time] Elmo have teamed up to teach us about respect. There’s a sentence I never thought I’d write.

The furry red Muppet paid a visit to Westeros to finally bring an end to the seasons-long feud between siblings Cersei (Lena Headey) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage). Never mind the most recent episode of GoT, in which Cersei tasked Bronn (Jerome Flynn) with killing Tyrion and her other dear brother Jaime Lannister.

“Elmo thinks that you two need to respect each other,” Elmo, first of his name, King of the Muppets, King of Sesame Street, the Red One says. “When Elmo has a problem with his friends like Abby or Cookie Monster, Elmo doesn’t get upset! Elmo listens and learns from what they have to say.”

Tyrion, wise as ever replies, “If we stop fighting and work together, we could be stronger. I am willing to learn and listen if you are.”

“I can try,” Cersei reluctantly agrees, still probably upset about her elephants.

And that’s it, that’s how season eight ends!!!

“Respect brings us together, and if anyone can convince @GameofThrones’ Cersei and Tyrion to get along, a familiar furry red friend might just be the one,” Sesame Street tweeted.

Meanwhile in Westworld, the Cookie Monster‘s helping Dolores and Bernard understand each other. Again, this is quite the ambitious crossover,

Right, well Game of Thrones airs Mondays on Foxtel.

A happy Good Friday to you all.
