Don Cheadle Rails A Lot Of Nosé In The Wild Trailer For ‘Black Monday’

We can’t say for certain that a frankly absurd amount of cocaine was the root cause of the cataclysmic stock market crash of 1987, but it almost certainly played a big role. And to that end, there’s oceans of Dr. Devil’s Silly Time Powder to be found in the simply insane-looking trailer for Black Monday, which dropped over the weekend.

Don Cheadle has the lead role in the upcoming series, which Stan is set to air locally in Australia, that follows the Wall Street collapse of 1987 in an absurd, satirical way.

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are serving as executive producers on the series, while also directing the pilot, which features a raft of familiar comedy faces including Andrew RannellsRegina HallPaul ScheerKen MarinoCasey WilsonKurt Braunohler, and Horatio Sanz.

And if all that alone weren’t enough, cop the official synopsis for the series, which sounds absolutely, positively batshit nuts.

[The show takes audiences] back to October 19, 1987 – aka Black Monday, the worst stock market crash in Wall Street history. To this day, no one knows who caused it — until now. It’s the story of how a group of outsiders took on the blue-blood, old-boys club of Wall Street and ended up crashing the world’s largest financial system, a Lamborghini limousine, Don Henley’s birthday party and the glass ceiling

Bloody… yep.

No sense mucking about anymore. Smash the full trailer right into your faces ASAP.
