Marvel Will Release 8 New Films By 2023 Because ‘Endgame’ Was Only The Start

Endgame, Avengers: Endgame

Four Avatar films. Four Star Wars projects. Eight Marvel films before the tail end of 2022. These are just a few of the promises Disney makes in its slate of upcoming projects, which shows some incomprehensible output from the Hollywood megastudio over the next decade.

According to CNET, Disney shared its updated movie release schedule overnight.

In addition to the fifteen Disney projects scheduled to premiere before the end of the year, the studio confirmed the Marvel Cinematic Universe will continue until 2022 – at the bare minimum.

Expect follow-ups to Black Panther, that new Guardians Of The Galaxy flick, a Black Widow stand-alone, and maybe even the introduction of Shang-Chi.

Some other notable flicks appear on the roster, too. A new Indiana Jones flick is coming your way in 2021, a cool 13 years after The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Mickey also appears to have bet big on the success of its live-action reimaginations, with nine of the extravaganzas appearing from 2021.

And yeah, Avatar. Lots more Avatar.

The release slate demonstrates the intentions of Disney, which acquired Fox Studios for a mammoth $52 billion in 2017. Better evict the names and faces of your loved ones from your memories, because there’s gonna be a whole heap of new content to remember.
