Disney Announces ‘Kim Possible’ Live-Action Reboot & That’s The Sitch

In the latest entry into an increasingly long line of reboots nobody was really asking for but like sure we’ll take it I guess, comes news of yet another cherished cartoon memory getting a live-action version, this time Disney Channel‘s Kim Possible.

Originally airing from 2002 to 2007, the cartoon featured ass-kicking superspy Kim Possible and her clumsy geek pal Ron Stoppable as well as a mole-rat named Rufus (played by Nancy Cartwright aka Bart Simpson FYI) and was fairly ahead of its time in regards to its treatment of feminism and teen relationships.

Disney announced in a tweet this morning that the beloved series was coming back with a live-action spin, with casting just kicking off now.

Not much else has been announced although we do know original creators Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley will write the script.

For now let’s just enjoy that ripper of an theme song from Christina Millian one more time:

SO WHAT’S THE SITCH?
