Here’s A Bunch Of ‘Deadpool 2’ First Reactions To Get You Bloody Hyped

It’s been about 48 hours since critics hit the cinemas to watch Deadpool 2. Since then, reactions have been hitting Twitter as us normal folk patiently wait for May 18 to roll around. The general consensus is the film’s fucking awesome with one hell of a post-credit scene.

The possibilities are endless for the post-credit scene… and the waiting time just got ten times worse.

There are no spoilers in these reactions though so we’re all still in keeping with #WadeWilsonDemandsYourSisterSorryStupidAutoCorrectSilence.

Up first is IndieWire’s Kate Erbland who simply said:

Cameo, cameo, camoe, must be Hugh Jackman, must be Hugh Jackman.

Collider’s Editor-in-Chief Steven Weintraub is a definite fan:

Also from Collider, Matt Goldberg tweeted his thoughts and to be honest, this could either be bad or good:

Mike Ryan, the Senior Entertainment Writer for Uproxx genuinely didn’t enjoy the first Deadpool for whatever reason that may be. Can’t say the same about the sequel though:

Mike followed this tweet up with another saying, “I’m still legit shocked that I enjoyed this movie.” Yeah, alright mate.

Editor-in-Chief over at ScreenCrush, Matt Singer also majorly disliked the first film but was converted by Wade’s charm:

Yay for average Peter.

Journo and actor Ben Drefuss also teased the now highly-anticipated post-credit scene:

People News Editor Nigel. M Smith again stressed how good it is:

My eye is twitching.

Grace Randolph from Beyond the Trailer on Youtube gave an emoji review which can honestly mean anything:

Alex Abad-Santos from Vox threw this big call:

Which pissed off this dude a lot:

Classic.

This dude from a Canadian paper lowkey spoiled the film so I won’t be including his tweet but he did not like the film at all. Talk about un-Canadian.

Oh, and then Hugh Jackman who has to be the celebrity cameo in the film posted his reaction to the movie.

Hugh jokes about deleting the Insta post immediately but keeps it because of the “shameless promo” for his Laughing Man Coffee.

Their faux feud is the best thing in the world.

Hugh launched Laughing Man Coffee in 2011 so farmers in developing countries could sell their goods to consumers in America. Hugh donates 100 per cent of his profits to the Laughing Man Foundation – a foundation in partnership with Fair Trade USA that work toward housing improvements and college scholarships. You can learn more HERE.

Co-creator of Deadpool, Rob Liefeld had a particularly strong reaction to the film. Taking to his Twitter, Rob shared how he shed a coupla tears because of the nostalgia, because of everything Deadpool has become and because well, it was awesome.

You can read more about that below.

May 18th.
