Daniel Radcliffe gets meme’d a lot. Think the classic Harry Potter memes or that random scene in Trainwreck where he’s walking down the street with a coupla dogs and a ciggie. So while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his new Broadway show The Lifespan of a Fact, Radcliffe’s life as the iconic wizard got brought up of course, but this time, in the form of memes.

As extremely good sport Radcliffe told Fallon, he knows there are Harry Potter memes around but he “doesn’t seek them out” SO Fallon proceeds to whip out a whole bunch… for the purpose of education and Radcliffe’s like ‘yeah sure, let’s do it’.

The late night host kicked things off quite simply with the “Harry Pugger” meme – a picture of a pug dressed up as Harry Potter.

“What’s not to like, that’s great, solid pun, cute dog,” Radcliffe commented.

Next up: “If you’re havin’ Quidditch problems I feel bad for you son. I got 99 problems but a snitch ain’t one.”

Naturally, this one copped a round of applause because it’s ELITE.

Radcliffe commented, “What’s cool about that stuff is I never – as a kid when you’re just insecure – I never felt cool at any point playing that character and these things – people sort of thought that was pretty cool. It’s nice.”

What a bloody sweetie pie.

Third meme you’ll need to see for yourself to fully appreciate it.

The fourth meme – too real.

Radcliffe actually explained the story behind the photo sharing, “That’s me years ago out for lunch realising that there’s a paparazzi to my right and being like ‘ughhh what do I do?’ That’s my deep thinking face.”

And we love it.

For the fifth and final meme, Fallon showed a video of someone dressed up as Hermione Granger at Comic-Con muzzing with a wand.

As Radcliffe responds, “We need to remake the films now, into musicals.”

The Lifespan of a Fact, a comedy co-starring Cherry Jones and Bobby Cannavale, tells the tale of John D’Agata (Cannavale) who finds himself in trouble when Radcliffe’s fact-checker character starts to analyse an article he wrote and has yet to be published.

It’s also “one act straight through” which is mightily impressive.

I mean, if you find yourself in New York from October 18, check it out.
