Hard Nut Daniel Craig Seen Working Out In A Cast To Prep For Bond 25

A little ankle injury isn’t going to stop Daniel Craig.

Several weeks ago, the star of the James Bond franchise was filming scenes for the upcoming film in Jamaica when he slipped and fell on set, putting himself out of commission.

He was flown to the US for treatment, and production on Bond 25 temporarily shut down. By the looks of things today, though, he’s more than ready to get back in the game.

The official James Bond twitter account shared a photo of the star working out in a cast, saying: “Daniel Craig hitting the gym hard at Pinewood Studios, prepping for shooting next week!”

This is not the first time the actor has hurt himself on a Bond set. He lost two teeth while filming his a stunt for Casino Royale, sliced off a fingertip on Quantum of Solace and hurt his knee on Spectre.

The still-untitled sequel due for release next year, is directed by Cary Fukunaga of True Detective. In addition to Daniel Craig, it stars Rami Malek as the villain, alongside Léa Seydoux and Ana de Armas.

Familiar faces Ralph Feinnes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris will return to their roles as M, Q and Eve Moneypenny.
