Claudia O’Doherty, the ebullient Australian standout in Netflix sitcom Love, is set to star in a brand new webseries dedicated to the deeply, irreparably cooked world of beauty vloggers.

Screen Australia today announced that Sarah’s Channel is one of five new projects to secure funding from the industry body.
That’s good bloody news, considering its synopsis: Sarah’s Channel will follow the eponymous vlogger as she continues to upload #hot #content after a devastating global catastrophe.
Sarah’s Channel will also include “subterranean mutants who worship her” and a murderous beast which seeks to end her channel – and her life. If that’s not reason to throw on a smoky eye, we don’t know what is.
Nick Coyle will direct the ABC iView project, which already seems like a fresh riff on the You Suck At Photoshop series from days of yore.
That programme will be joined by Content, another series skewering the culture of online influencers, among some other hot new projects led by local talent.
Those shows will pop up on your screens in various incarnations over the next few months, but you should feel free to catch up on Love‘s final season before those blessed days.
