Chadwick Boseman & Michael B. Jordan’s Reaction To ‘Green Book’ Win Goes Viral

Aside from Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper practically having sex on stage, the other big news surrounding The Oscars 2019 was the shock win of Green Book over BlacKkKlansman in the Best Picture category.

Director Spike Lee was allegedly furious about the loss and turned his back to the stage before threatening to walk out of the ceremony.

He later threw shade on the win in a backstage interview. “This is my sixth glass — and you know why,” he said.

“I’m snakebit. Every time someone’s driving somebody I lose.” His comment was a reference to 1990 best picture winner Driving Miss Daisy which won the same year his breakout film Do the Right Thing didn’t score any awards.

He adds that when he heard Green Book announced as the winner: “I thought I was courtside at the (Madison Square) Garden, and the ref made a bad call.”

And it turns out he’s not alone in his shock as some other blokes in the room that night appeared to be visibly upset by the strange turn of events.

Footage has gone viral that shows Chadwick Boseman turning to his Black Panther co-star Michael B. Jordan and giving him the side-eye, just as the Green Book peeps arrive on the stage.

Boseman is teaming up with Lee for the director’s next movie, Da 5 Bloods. Filming is set to take place over the next two months in Thailand.
