Cass Wood From ‘The Bachelor’ Is Pissed They Made Her Look Like A Stalker

It’s pretty much a given that if you sign up to be on The Bachelor, you’ll be made to look like a fool at best or a bunny-boiling maniac at worst, but people still do it – people like Cass Wood, who had a spray at the producers of the long-running show yesterday, saying they’ve made her look like a crazed stalker.

Cass has been one of the most entertaining and unhinged Bachie contestants this season, obsessing over Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins, who she maybe-definitely hooked up with before the show, making declarations of love and reading him adoring letters from what may have been a blank diary.

Having seen her portrayal on the show – which, we have to stress once again, has a tried and true formula for how it edits its contestants, and has been running for six dang seasons at this point – Cass is not happy. In an interview with News Corp, she said:

“I didn’t know I would be featured this much. The first episode was pretty hard to watch because they only show certain things … It is not a true portrayal of me and what people are saying that I am a stage-five clinger and a stalker. It is nasty and untrue.”

“Stage-five clinger” is a reference to Jarrod Woodgate, the truly God-level suitor from Sophie Monk‘s season, who got way too attached to her way too fast and threatened to walk into the ocean before moving on with Keira Maguire on Bachelor In Paradise.

I’m actually glad we’re talking about Jarrod, TBH, because now I get to share this truly insane bit of content from his Instagram, which has haunted me for weeks and will now haunt you too:

I have LOTS OF QUESTIONS ABOUT THE MASK, actually, but that’s neither here nor there right now.

Cass Wood is one of fifteen remaining girls vying for Nick Cummins’ heart, although I suspect that like Vanessa ‘Brunch Is A  Melbourne Thing’ Sunshine, who we love and fear more with each passing day, she may not be among the front-runners to make it all the way.
