Jake Busey And Cary Elwes Added To Cast Of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3

We still don’t really know what’s in store for us with the third season of Netflix‘s Stranger Things, but thanks to Netflix’s chief content officer, Ted Sarandos, we have one more tiny bit of information: the show’s going to feature Starship TroopersJake Busey and The Princess Bride‘s Cary Elwes.

According to Variety, Sarandos made the announcement in Rome at Netflix’s See What’s Next event. Elwes will be playing Mayor Kline who is, presumably, a mayor, while Jake Busey will be playing a character that is, at this stage, known simply as Bruce.

Together with this, all we really know about the new season at this stage is that it will be a slightly shorter eight episodes long, will skip a year and be set in 1985, and is likely to drop sometime next year, having only just started production this month.

So far the first two seasons have been ridiculously dope, fingers crossed they manage to keep it up without letting their enormous success get to their collective heads.
