The countdown is on for the highly anticipated sixth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and we’ve just copped a cool cool cool cool cool cool look at what’s to come.
In the first all-action trailer, Detective Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) finally achieves his lifelong dream of living out Die Hard in real life as he appears on a rooftop alongside the gang.
The scene satirises the infamous Die Hard helicopter scene which is later revealed to be a fantasy playing out in his head which he pitches as a concept for the trailer, only to have his idea rejected.

The fifth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine ended with Peralta and Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) getting married, after a bomb threat almost forced them to call off their ceremony, while Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) received some big job news.
Speaking to TV Line about the sixth season premiere, creator Dan Goor said that it will find Jake and Amy relaxing after their wedding, although things will hit a “snag” and it “won’t be the honeymoon they think it’s going to be.”
The sixth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine debuts January 10 in the U.S.
