AAALRIGHT: ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Is Officially Serving Up A Full-On Feature Film

20th Century Fox has announced a Bob’s Burgers feature film, and if that doesn’t slap mayo on your buns, we’re not even sure what will.

Bob, Linda, Gene, Tina, Louise, and hopefully Little King Trashmouth will all make their big-screen debut in 2020, taking the equal parts gross and wholesome comedy to audiences not yet acquainted with the middle-American heroes.

In a statement, the show’s mastermind Loren Bouchard said taking the multiple Emmy Award-winning comedy to theatres will prove to be a creative challenge, but one the crew is capable of handling.

We know the movie has to scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had, but it also has to work for all the good people who’ve never seen the show. We also know it has to fill every inch of the screen with the colors and the sounds and the ever so slightly greasy texture of the world of Bob’s – but most of all it has to take our characters on an epic adventure. In other words, it has to be the best movie ever made. But no pressure, right?!”

We’ll pass you more news as we get it. Hopefully, we get to tell you the film will focus on Gene’s shortlived David Bowie phase.
