Oh thank everloving fuck. The first reviews are in for Blade Runner 2049, and by all accounts this film is going to blow 2017 out of the water.
The Denis Villeneuve sequel to the 1982 sci-fi classic stars Ryan Gosling as a young blade runner whose discovery of a long-buried secret sends him on a mission to track down Rick Deckard, a blade runner who’s been missing for 30 years.
It’s being described online as “a sci-fi masterpiece”, “phenomenal”, “breathtaking” and “one of the most mind-blowing films … ever seen.”
One reviewer even said it “improved” on the original, while another said it was “even better”. Honestly, are you hyped yet? Because we’re friggin’ dying to see it over here.

And here’s good news for all of you who never quite got around to watching the original, despite the fact that it came out 30+ years ago.
You do not have to have seen the original ‘Blade Runner’ to watch ‘Blade Runner 2049’. But it will def make the film better if you have. pic.twitter.com/7Gjd7GnmpS
