The nation is still recovering from the enormous trash fire that was the last season of The Bachelor, and the Honey Badger hasn’t even given his tell-all interview yet, but that doesn’t matter because we’re pushing ahead with a new season of The Bachelorette this week no matter what.

This morning, Channel Ten unveiled the first official photo of the 18 blokes who will be trying to win Ali Oetjen‘s heart, so we can dive right in and start picking faves based on entirely superficial judgements of their grooming, facial hair outfits and so on.
Coming in hot up the very front we have Ben,whose Nick Cummins-like mop of hair may be an ill omen of things to come. Wes, with his crushed red velvet suit and wild, untamed mane, is looking like the wild card of the season, while sweet Brendan over there on the right is surely thrilled just to have been invited.
Over the past few days, we’ve had personalised intros to a few of the guys, like Todd, the WA sales rep whose suit of armour is a strong episode one gimmick.
Then there’s Dan, a WA sports reporter who gives off a strong dad vibe that I’m strongly into tbh.
Then of course there’s Charlie, the NSW builder who is already strongly being tipped as the winner.
Based on this promo (bromo) and the extremely diverse and eclectic bunch of guys on display, this season of The Bachelorette will surely be another huge mess. See you 7.30 Wednesday, I guess!
