Love it or hate it, The Bachelor will likely be the only thing on TV in a few years’ time as all entertainment is pared down to things that involve either fighting or fucking or both. Pitting a collection of people who are hot in the most disconcertingly bland way that either have no personality or far too much personality against each other for the affections of someone that surely must be pretending to enjoy the process, The Bachelor is what we got because it would be illegal to show Roman-style gladiatorial fights on TV.
So far, our bachelors have been the sort of guy you would marry if you ran out of options and were forced to move back to your hometown, but the next season is going to be different. The next season has the Honey Badger.
Nick Cummins isn’t just a pretty face, he’s also a thoroughly loose unit, and it’s hard to imagine him slogging through the show with the same level of uninspired teen’s-idea-of-romance nonsense that the other’s used to woo the previous collections of women.
Frankly, we have no idea what the next season will look like with the Badgelor in the starring role but, thanks to the season’s first teaser, we know at least what Cummins looks like when he’s wearing only a small collection of roses for clothing. Enjoy:
