It’s the greatest day of the year folks, because it’s the day when the full cast of The Bachelor Australia is revealed, and we get a hint of what specific kinds of crazy we’ll be dealing with and who we’ll be cheering for over the next couple of months.

This morning, Channel 10 revealed the women who will be vying for the heart of Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins, and the first thing that jumps out is how bloody many ladies are in the dating pool this year. Seriously, there seem to be like 5000 of them this time around.
Are there always this many? Will the culling process be more brutal? Did the producers deliberately beef up the number of contestants in order to have a viable cast for Bachelor In Paradise, after the first season burned through basically everyone? Inquiring minds want to know.
ANY-FUCKEN-HOO, if you can’t make all 25 of them out from that one very crowded Instagram photo, Ten Daily revealed some further details of the new cast members this morning, but we’re just going to pick out some of our faves for you right now.
First up is Urszula, from Victoria – that’s her over there on the right of the photo serving a powerful Amazon fantasy. The Polish-born contestant describes herself as a “hunter” on the dating scene, and honestly, who is as happy being single as in a relationship, and honestly, we Stan.
Way over on the left is Vanessa Sunshine, also from Victoria. The only thing we know for sure about her is her name, but that’s enough to get on board. Right near her her is Queensland flight attendant Tenille, who says she’s so laid-back she needs to lean forward, which is a mood.
The Bachelorr kicks off on Wednesday night, but if you’re thirsty for a little more Nick Cummins – an entirely justifiable position, TBH – then here he is adorably answering some of dad’s questions about the real-life honey badger. Enjoy:
