‘Bachie’ Queen Mary Says 18 Y.O. Dudes Are Sliding Into Her DMs & Boys, Have A Cold Shower

Mary Viturino

Mary Viturino has exited The Bachelor. The days of her fire commentary are over, and I am DEVO. Who else is going to talk about how awkward it is to stare at Abbie straddling Matt on a group date while complimenting her tits at the same time? Honestly.

Mary chatted to PEDESTRIAN.TV about her time in the mansion and all the damn tea re: Abbie and Plan B. And even though she didn’t find love on The Bachelor, she sure as hell has copped an absolute handful of thirsty DMs on IG. So hey, anything could happen. I froth a good DM love story.

Here’s our chat with Queen Mary. (I skipped to the spice)

PTV: How did the drama with Plan B begin?

M: Look, Cassandra left the cocktail party in the last episode and I was like ‘I don’t want to be the next Cassandra when Rachael is clearly not interested. She said it so many times, she was like ‘Well, he’s not hot.’ And she was like ‘I want to go’ but she kept accepting roses so I thought, I don’t want to be the next Cassandra and so I told Matt. In the end, if I was in Matt’s shoes I would want to know if someone is giving their number to somebody else. So yeah, I ended up snitching. Sorry not sorry.

PTV: Did all the girls know about Plan B?

M: Yes, because it did start off as a joke. We’re around the crew all the time and you know there are some cute guys in the crew – 100 per cent – and we don’t see a lot of Matt so of course we’re going to be like, ‘He’s good looking. He could be a Plan B’. BUT, none of us tried to get people’s surnames or Instagram or tried to give our phone numbers to them. So that’s the difference.

In the end, Rachael didn’t get a Plan B, she got a Plan C with Vakoo so good for her.

PAUSE. LOOK HOW CUTE.

And unpause.

PTV: You were super vocal about Abbie in the mansion. Do you take any of it back?

M: No! Abbie is a player. Abbie is just unbelievable, that girl. I don’t take any of it back. You can clearly see that she’s in there because she wants to win a competition like Matt is the trophy. So I think she sees it like that and that’s not what it is. If you ‘win’ the show, you’re not going to win a prize or prize money. You’re going to win a relationship with a man who’s supposed to be the love of your life so I don’t take back anything that’s been said about Abbie because she is crazy.

She’s 23, she’s so young. As if she’s ready to be married and have kids. And she tells Matt that she is. So I think she tells Matt what he wants to hear.

PTV: Do you have any regrets about going on The Bachelor?

M: I don’t think so. I said what I wanted to say and if anybody got offended by it then I’m sorry but I’m not going to please everybody because that’s how life is. So if you like me good but if you don’t then bad luck.

PAUSE. I bloody love Mary.

UNPAUSE.

PTV: How has life been after The Bachelor?

M: I’m like girl do you have a brother ‘cos send him my way. The guys that are sliding into my DMs, they’re not good! I’m telling you. I’m just like ‘Sorry, not interested’ and it’s so funny because I get both ends so people over 55 and sometimes these boys are 18. [Mary’s 33, fyi] I’m like c’mon, work with me people. There has to be someone out there for me.

PTV: Do you have any last words for Matt?

M: I wish him the best and hope he finds the love of his life!

Mary Viturino is an absolute queen and you can’t tell me otherwise.

The Bachelor airs 7.30pm Wednesday and Thursdays on Channel 10.
