Brace yourself for a hugely shocking revelation: it appears that the producers of a reality TV show designed to make roving packs of emotionally unstable minor-level celebs either fuck or fight might not be above using dirty tricks for the sake of getting people to watch the show.
Anyone with a brain who watched the teaser for tonight’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise might have picked up on a tiny bit of subtext, specifically pertaining to openly bisexual contestant Megan and some bisexual making out she may or may not have been going to do:

This seemed like pretty exciting stuff for a show that is so relentlessly and aggressively heterosexual that my sensitive queer ears pick up most of the dialogue only as a shrill, high-frequency buzz. But, of course, what seemed too good to be true absolutely was, the blurry footage of what appeared to be Megan making out with some similarly same-sex attracted woman was, in fact, blurry footage of Megan making out with Canadian intruder Thomas Perras.
Nothing says romance like making out in the water while someone is shining extremely powerful floodlights on you:
