Channel Ten Officially Confirms ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Is A Go, Baby

Welp, there it is.

Just a few days after PEDESTRIAN.TV was clued in to the imminent arrival of Australia’s own Bachelor In Paradise – the reality TV spin-off which grinds together former The Bachelor and The Bachelorette contestants, just for the thrill of it – Channel Ten has confirmed its existence.

A press release about the upcoming heart-puncher reads “set in a romantic tropical destination overseas, Bachelor In Paradise will follow the contestants as they build new relationships, fall in love or face heartbreak, again.”

That first bit proves rumours about its potential international locale correct. It had been postulated the series could take place in Fiji, and an image chucked on the show’s newly-formed Facebook page suggests that might just be the case.

Emblazoned across a perfectly adequate sunset and a token palm frond, Channel Ten proclaims “Bachelor in Paradise: coming soon.”

This will be Australia’s first-ever experience with a local version of Bachelor In Paradise, and you can be bloody assured we’re already contemplating potential match-ups for the supercharged dating extravaganza.

One addition has already been confirmed: Osher Gunsberg will be on deck to oversee the festivities / inevitable chaos.

At least one of these three will be present.

We’ll have more deets for you as they become available. For the moment, prepare to see your faves have their hearts crushed once more.
