Everyones favourite reality TV dating show, The Bachelor Australia, is back this week. And while we’re all extreeeemely excited to watch Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins galumph his way through a series of group and solo dates, when the line-up of women vying for his heart was revealed over the weekend it was hard not to notice how… white everyone was.

Just like Matty J’s contestant reveal, there’s a noticeable lack of diversity – and like last year, people have been quick to call out the show for a white-washed cast.

Of the 25 cast members, only four come from diverse background according to TheFIX – Cat Henesy-Smith hails from Indonesia, Urszula from Poland, Dasha Gaivoronski from Russia, and the first indigenous contestant for the Aussie show, Brooke Blurton.
The Bachelor Australia premieres on TEN this Wednesday night at 7.30pm.
