Troy Delmege from Married At First Sight has to be the most roasted contestant of the season. Sure, you’ve got Dean Wells being labelled a dickhead, but Troy’s been accused multiple times of being fake/an actor/a hire from an agency, plus revealed to be an alleged 35-year-old virgin, plus shamed for hooking up with fellow contestant Carly Bowyer. Ooft, it’s a lot.

While his speech to Ash was preeetty hectic, hers pretty much mirrored his sentiments, and the pair hugged it out afterward.
It did get awkward afterward however, with Troy saying his feelings for Ash were that of a “sister”. OUCH.
Anyway. Now the pair are doing interviews and whatnot, and while Troy’s have been pretty neutral on the Ash front, Ash’s sister – who has somehow become the unofficial spokesperson for Ash, which is weird and I say that as someone who is literally joined at the hip with my own sister – has not been so kind. In fact, she’s been brutal as fuck.
“He thinks everyone loves him and that they should love him, that he’s the complete package,” she told Fitzy and Wippa this morning on Nova. “He’s so fake — he’s putting on an act.”
It’s basically the same shit she spewed forth last time she spoke about Troy via Instagram – that he’s a phony, that he led Ash along etc.
‘He’s definitely not an actor, I just mean he is putting on an act,’ she explained.
Although she’s now backtracking on the accusation that he was hired from an agency, it’s still pretty damning.
“Within five minutes [of meeting him] I was like ‘No, no way’ … Everyone thinks he’s this nice guy, but he’s not — he’s really not. He’s fooling everyone and I feel bad my sister got dragged along.”
Interestingly, she also preeetty much confirmed Carly and Troy were a thing.
“Is [tonight’s episode] the one where Troy and Carly profess their love for each other?” Fitzy asked Summer.
“It’s all out now. Troy’s like Dean 2.0,” Summer replied.
She went on to elaborate.
“Ashley’s really good mates with everyone [from the show], she’s probably seen 90 per cent of them … bar Carly. I don’t think Ashley’s bitter, it’s just like ‘Have some class, just wait a couple of weeks until after the show.’ There’s only one reason you’d do that, and it’s to draw attention to yourself, for more publicity. So keep it in your pants.”
