The ‘Arrested Development’ S5 Release Date Might’ve Leaked & Shit It’s Soon

While those of you with Bluth on the brain no doubt spent this past weekend pouring over the suddenly-dropped “normal” remix of Arrested Development‘s fourth season, Monday’s coming in ultra-hot with some incredibly good news.

Season 5 is coming, and it would appear that it’s coming incredibly soon.

As in, “before June” soon.

As in, “later this very goddamned calendar month” soon.

Yep.

Late last week series creator Mitch Hurwitz confirmed via Twitter that not only would Arrested Development S5 be arriving on Netflix, but it would be arriving at a criminally soon date.

A new fifth season of Arrested Development will be coming back to Netflix soon. Like real soon. Like, if you knew when, you would not be wrong to be thinking “why are we all just hearing this now?”

Now that we’ve got an idea of what he meant by it, it turns out he was bloody well right.

The release date for AD5 has been spotted on a promotional Bluth Company stair car, which has been seen on the road in New York City.

Fortunately for us, thanks to the majesty of the internet, we’ve got a look at it.

Cop that. Right there on the truck. In plain letters.

May 29th.

That release date roughly lines up with Season 4’s, oddly enough, which premiered on Netflix on May 26th, 2013.

Additionally, the stair car sports a curious VOTeBLUTH.com URL, which for the time being redirects to a page containing a single banana emoji and nothing else. The banana stand; there’s always money in it.

Netflix hasn’t officially confirmed May 29th as the release date at this stage, but that very obvious promotional truck is locks it about 99.9% of the way in.

So there you go, mates.

Arrested Development.

Season 5.

Coming to Netflix on May 29th.

Get ready.
