Disney is very much on their bullshit when it comes to churning out live-action remakes of their classic animated films, and perhaps no film in this tradition has been more eagerly anticipated than Aladdin.
Well folks, you’re in luck: the big D has dropped the first teaser trailer for Aladdin, and you might be pleased to know that it looks very much like the original animated film.
Directed by Guy Ritchie, the film stars Will Smith, Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, Navid Negahban and Billy Magnussen. We don’t get much of a glimpse of it here, but Ritchie’s direction almost certainly guarantees it is going to be a tightly edited, high-paced action movie.
