Lambert has been performing with the active members of Queen since 2011 under the name, Queen + Adam Lambert, so this super sneaky cameo is no random one.

Taking to his Twitter, the artist shared a still from the film revealing he cameoed as the trucker who gives Rami Malek‘s Freddie Mercury the ~ eye ~ while he’s on the phone to his fiancée Mary Austin (Lucy Boynton). The scene pretty much hinted at a hook up.

Lambert actually announced he had a cameo in the film back in November on the red carpet of the movie’s New York premiere. Although he didn’t reveal his character at the time, he did describe the role as “very, very mysterious.”

I don’t know if I just have horrible facial recognition but I did not notice this cameo at all. And, it’s not like it was a split-second cameo either, Lambert had a solid couple of seconds there.

“Who is he!?” the singer captioned his post with the details of the film’s digital download release.

Queen + Adam Lambert have been performing gigs since 2011 and though no one can replace Mercury, Lambert has been praised for bringing his own style to Queen classics. The group have been performing all over the world with upcoming concerts in the United States and Canada this July.

In an essay for Billboardthe artist shared that he hoped to carry on Mercury’s “legacy in a way that would make him proud and that he would get a kick out of. And I hope he’s envious of my footwear collection.”

Bless.

Here’s Queen + Adam Lambert performing ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ from a little while ago.

As for the film, Rhapsody won big at the Golden Globes with best actor for Malek’s performance and best drama motion picture.

In his acceptance speech, Malek thanked Queen but especially Mercury for giving him the “joy of a lifetime.”

“I love you, you beautiful man. This is for, and because of you, gorgeous. Mwah.”
