Any of you who sat down and had a real hard think about this will no doubt have already guessed it, but nonetheless the long-awaited Zombieland 2 apparently now has an official title, and it’s all thanks to probably the most star-studded 10 Year Challenge post of them all.

The upcoming sequel to the hugely beloved original is already leaning heavily into the fact it’s being released almost 10 years to the day after the OG, but they took things to the next level earlier this morning. And, in doing so, gave the film its very appropriate official title.

There you bloody have it. Zombieland: Double Tap. Got it one there, we reckon.

On the off chance you need a refresher, that term comes from the list of rules kept by Jesse Eisenberg‘s character Columbus that helps him survive in the zombie-infested remains of the United States.

The sequel retains all of the original cast, including Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin. It’s also set to add Rosario DawsonZoey Deutch, and Avan Jorgia as human, non-zombie characters.

According to Deadline, the sequel centres on “the comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland,” and will see the original four face off against “the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. Most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.

The film is set to hit cinemas on October 11th this year.
