Actor, singer and frequently shirtless unit Zac Efron recently celebrated his 28th birthday, and in honour of the occasion, he took to Instagram to post a tribute to his late cousin Emily, who died of cancer two years ago.
Accompanying the throwback photo, which is too adorable to rationally be handled, Efron wrote:
Happy birthday to my cousin and best friend, Emily, who passed away from cancer 2 years ago – she was 28 like me. We share the same birthday and this day is forever ours.
The actor has long been a supporter of the Stand Up To Cancer charity, which funds cancer research, and asked well-wishers to donate any funds they can spare to the cause.
In 2010, Efron appeared in a PSA for the charity, alongside the likes of Kristen Bell, Andrew Garfield, Dakota Fanning, Olivia Munn, Aubrey Plaza and Logan Lerman.
