Lally Katz is an award winning playwright whose most recent works include Neighbourhood Watch at Belvoir (which was

a NSW Premier’s Literary Award), Return To Earth at Melbourne Theatre
Company and A Golem Story at Malthouse Theatre, all in 2011 (winner of
the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award). She is currently working on
commissions for Belvoir and The Gaiety School of Acting in Ireland but will take time to illuminate parts of the writing process like how to take that nebulous idea in your head and turn it into a script, how to get your script produced for theatre and how to turn writing into a career.
