You can’t open a festival without a party, and given that Adelaide Fringe is the biggest of it’s kind in the country, expect the party of the year. Featuring the best in music, cabaret and performance from both the Fringe and accompanying Fuse Festival’s line-ups, this extravaganza is one to get in the diary right away. Indie music fans can catch the likes of Sally Seltmann and John Steel Singers, as well as Triple J Unearthed winners The Cairos. Make sure you catch The Adelaide Sax Pack, too. We hear saxaphones are back this year in a big way.
Starting right after the opening parade (which begins at 7pm), Rymill Park will be lit up into the kind of wonderland you only usually see in Disney movies. But, you know, In Real Life.
