Willow Smith Out-Willow Smiths Herself, Drops Surprise Debut Album

Earlier this month, eternal child of light Willow Smith began cryptically Tweeting out the date December 11th, leading many to ponder its significance, and whether this would be the day that she and Jaden achieved their mythical final form.

As it turns out, this auspicious date would be the one on which Willow dropped her debut album, Ardipithecus
Earlier today, she Tweeted out a link to the U.S. iTunes store version of the album, although crushingly, as of writing, it does not appear to be on the Australian iTunes store just yet.
In a statement to The Fader, Willow said:

“Ardipithecus Ramidus is the scientific name of the first hominid bones found on earth. I wanted to name my musical compilation after it because, while I was making these songs I was in such a transitional state. Digging deep in the soil of my heart and finding bits and pieces of my ancient self that tell stories, which end up being the lyrics to the songs. Ardipithecusis my first album in my entire career and it makes me feel so blessed to be able to share my evolution with the LightEaters as I continue excavating my inner worlds …”

You can check out ‘F Q-C #8‘ below, and you may clock the fact that this album is going go be less ‘Whip My Hair‘ and more Miley Cyrus And Her Dead Petz. Listen, lesser being:
