The Guinness Book Of World Records is proving to be increasingly ridic. These days if you can do virtually anything bigger, faster or more times than anyone else you can book a spot on its pages. Just to prove my theory I typed World’s Biggest Game Of Dominoes into Google and among the top 5 articles were: “Most People Playing Domino-world record set by World Domino Championship” and “Most Number of Human Dominoes Toppled World Records Set”. In the footage below Will Ferrell leads the cape adorned masses in setting the official world record for the largest congregation of people dressed as superheroes AKA losers.
The event was essentially a press junket for upcoming DreamWorks Animation release of Megamind, starring the voices of Will Ferrell and Brad Pitt.
Can we please think up some random world record and have the Guinness Book reps on hand to make it official. Something that doesn’t involve baking or pain.
