Will Ferrel To Campaign In Sydney

Will Ferrel will touch down in Sydney on August 5th to attend the Australian premiere of his new movie, The Campaign, at George Street’s Event Cinemas.

The film is directed by Jay Roach (Meet The Parents and Austin Powers) and sees Ferrel star alongside Zach Galifianakis (Alan from The Hangover) as smooth talking political weasel Cam Brady. Galifianakis plays his underdog opponent, Marty Huggins, a dimwitted, naive small time dreamer whose election promises include abolishing daylight savings because he hates it when it gets dark early. Agreed.

According the Vote For Marty Facebook page you should vote for Huggins because he “cares what you had for breakfast and what your cat did while you were sleeping” whilst Brady’s page describes him as “calm, eagle eyed and his hair could lift a car off a baby if it had to.” Clearly there’s going to be a bee’s dick between who wins because they both seem well funny.
