Will Arnett To Launch New Series

Considering his scene-stealing post-Arrested Development work, including cameos in 30 Rock, Parks And Recreation (starring his Wife Amy Poehler), Funny Or Die and The Increasingly Poor Decisions Of Todd Margaret – the newly launched sitcom of Arrested Development alumni David Cross, it was high time Will Arnett headlined a series of his own.

To AD fans, Gob Bluth was the sparkly, pig-headed glue that held the series together and according to The Hollywood Reporter Arnett along with Arrested Development creator and executive producer Mitch Hurwitz are on the verge of inking a new sitcom deal with Fox. Apparently it stars Arnett as “a rich Beverly Hills jackass who falls in love with a charitable tree-hugging woman who can’t stand his lifestyle or values” – a premise which is expected to receive a pilot order from the network in the not too distant future. This is awesome news because A) Watching Will Arnett with some form of regularity is a benefit to the human race and B) We get to post videos of the dude’s side-splitting cameo work. Here’s the latter, enjoy.
