Kristofer Hivju, who plays ginger wildling heartthrob Tormund on ‘Game of Thrones‘, has shared a throwback photo of his beardless face and DAMN, son. Dem cheekbones.
Just to remind you, his Tormund beard isn’t fake. It’s not a stick-on face fuzz. It’s his real, honest-to-god beard, and the man is rarely seen without it.
It takes the Norwegian actor five months to grow his glorious chin warmer. He told Vulture last year that the last time he had to trim it was for the disastrous Will / Jayden Smith sci-fi pic ‘After Earth‘ (2013), and that’s only because Will Smith goddamn insisted. Hivju’s more recent films – ‘Fast 8‘, ‘The Last King‘ – insisted on the beard.

We’ll never advocate for Hivju to shave something so glorious. But damn, son – without it, he’s a sweet baby Renaissance angel.
