The female subject of a street harassment PSA you would’ve seen everywhere yesterday documenting the one hundred plus instances of catcalling one woman was subject to in on day in Manhattan has, sadly and unsurprisingly, already started receiving rape and death threats according to the organisation who created the video, Hollaback.

It’s the incredibly disheartening reality of entrenched while male privilege and that there are fedora toffed neckbeards who have no qualms wielding it like it’s some kind of fundamental right that Funny Or Die’s inevitable parodic video, 10 Hours Of Walking in NYC as a Man, takes as its main target. After the video’s documented “100+ instances of verbal street privilege” comes the real kicker:
“If you want to help, please do nothing. Leave the patriarchy in place.”
