WATCH: We Got Bingey With It Behind The Scenes At Bingefest 2016

Here at P.TV we pride ourselves on our ability to binge like the best of ’em, so to get the most out of the 48 hour pop culture gorge-a-thon that is Bingefest 2016, we’ve partnered with Samsung Australia to bring you all the highlights from Straya’s newest festival.

One of the greatest gifts the 21st century has brought us, is the ability to get horizontal in a location of your choice and continuously catapult pop culture straight to your face hole for as many hours as you like, in what has come to be know as “bingeing”.
More than just your standard Netflix and chilling, binge culture has quickly become an entity in its own right, to the point where there’s now a whole 48-hour long festival dedicated to it, appropriately called Bingefest and it just had it’s inaugural run around the Sydney Opera House this past weekend.
In addition to the big ticket talks from the likes of ‘Community’ and ‘Rick & Morty’ creator Dan Harmon and the kooky brand of performance art that is whatever the hell Shia LaBeouf got up to, there was a smorgasbord of things to binge on around the Opera House including a 24-hour ‘Street Fighter’ marathon, a ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ VR experience, a whole mini-festival purely for cat videos (see below) and the likes of internet sensations Celeste Barber, Deligracy & Mads from SketchShe hanging around (quite often in a huge BingeBed).
P.TV’s Mitch was also on the ground on the weekend, and got the chance to check out some of the goodies avail as part of the Bingefest, plus hung out with all the internet heads, to chat their highlights from 2016, which you can cop via the Snapchat video below:
