By her own admission, Victoria Beckham wasn’t the strongest singer in her Spice Girls heyday, and she’s said that when the band performed, they’d just turn her microphone off and let her dance about the place in heels.
With that in mind, her recent appearance on James Corden‘s Carpool Karaoke was a little bit … different in terms of what we’d normally expect from the long-running series.
The segment is a parody of the ’80s romantic comedy Mannequin, which stars Kim Cattrall, aka Samantha from Sex & The City, as a department store dummy come to life.
Look, yeah, we’re not expecting biting, up-to-date social satire from Carpool Karaoke, so we’ll just enjoy the chance to see the two of them act like fools and belt out a quick Spice Girls number:
