A year after a car accident left him on the brink of death, Tracy Morgan is still living every week like it’s Shark Week.
Returning to his home turf on Saturday Night Live, Morgan launched into the show with a reunion of 30 Rock #squad Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Jack McBrayer and Jane Krakowski.
The crew tore through a “prophetic” scene where Morgan’s 30 Rock stand-in Tracy Jordan is feared dead after attempting to “non-artificially inseminate his box jellyfish” (natch), before Fey classes up the joint, letting Morgan Jordan know “we’re so happy that you’re OK, but we’re even happier that you’re ready to make people laugh again.”
It’s touching stuff. Still, according to Kenneth Parcell, Jordan is the only one who could ever teach him “how to drink Hennessy until I throw up on the Knicks.”
