The buzz for cinematic all-rounder J.J. Abrams‘ sci-fi thriller Super 8 has been building since the first glimpse of the movie hit the internet in May 2010 via a mysterious teaser clip on youtube. Now it’s turned into one of the most anticipated films of 2011, and with Steven Spielberg on board as producer and a cast of superb young actors led by Elle Fanning (Somewhere) with every snippet that’s released the anticipation has only increased. Below you can take a look at some new Super 8 clips that have been released. The pressure’s on for this movie to deliver, but with Abrams’ track record for living up to big hype (his Star Wars prequel was great, for example) we might all have good reason to be excited.
Super 8 is set for release on June 10, 2011.
